Privacy policy
Last updated 22 October 2026
MatchWeekMedia is made by ClipItCoach (“we” and “us”). This policy covers the MatchWeekMedia app for Android, iPhone and iPad, and this website, matchweekmedia.com.
The short version
The app has no account and no server. What you add to it stays on your phone, and we never see it. The app collects no analytics, crash reports or advertising data, and it doesn’t track you.
What the app keeps, and where
To make your posts, the app keeps what you add to it in its own storage on your phone:
- your teams: their names, sport, kit colours, shirt style, crest and sponsor’s logo
- your squad: players’ names, shirt numbers and positions
- your opponents, games, lineups, results and scorers
- the posts you make: their videos and photos
None of it is sent to us or to anyone else. The app has no sign-in, and the Android app doesn’t even have permission to use the internet.
If your phone backs up its apps to your Google or Apple account, that backup includes your teams, squad and games, but not your posts. The backup belongs to your account and is handled by Google or Apple; we can’t see it. Removing the app removes everything it keeps on the phone.
Photos, files and sharing
- Adding a logo. The app opens your phone’s own photo or file picker and receives only the image you choose.
- Saving a post. The app saves the video and photo to your phone’s gallery. On iPhone and iPad it asks to add to your photos; it can’t see the photos already there.
- Sharing a post. When you share, the post goes through your phone’s share sheet to the app you pick. What happens next is covered by that app’s privacy policy.
- Backups. Exporting a backup makes a file with your teams, squad and games. You choose where it goes, and we never receive it.
Players’ names in your posts
Posts can show players’ names, shirt numbers and who scored. Before you post them publicly, make sure your club and your players, or their parents and carers, are happy for them to appear.
Buying the app
You buy MatchWeekMedia from Google Play or the App Store, and Google or Apple handles the payment under its own privacy policy. We never receive your card or payment details. If the store gives us details of an order, for example to deal with a refund, we use them only for that.
Emailing us
If you email [email protected], we receive your email address and what you write, and use them only to help you. We keep the emails while we need them to look after your question.
This website
- matchweekmedia.com uses no cookies, analytics or advertising, and has no forms.
- Its pages, fonts, images and sample videos come from our own server.
- Like any website, our server and Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site, see your IP address, your browser and the pages it asks for. They keep these in standard logs for a limited time, for security and to keep the site running.
- The ClipItCoach overview video is hosted by Bunny.net. It loads only when you press play, and then Bunny.net receives your IP address, as any video host would.
- Links to clipitcoach.com go to ClipItCoach’s website, which has its own privacy policy.
Children
MatchWeekMedia is made for coaches, managers and club volunteers, and isn’t aimed at children under 13. The app collects no personal information from anyone, children included.
Your choices and rights
What you add to the app stays on your phone, so you’re in control of it: you can change or delete anything in the app, or remove the app. For anything we do hold, such as an email you sent us, contact [email protected] and we’ll help you see, correct or delete it.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If the app is ever going to collect anything, this page will say so before that version of the app is released.
